The Tuttle Homecoming Parade is this Friday! The newly selected officers and a selected few memebers will be able to ride on the Spanish Club float.

Dear Parents and Students,

Welcome to the Spanish Club 2014-1015!   Where students will have the opportunity to use the language outside of the classroom and learn more about the culture of Spanish speaking countries. Students of all 3 levels will be able to interact together and have fun practicing what they know.

WHAT DOES THE SPANISH CLUB DO?

Spanish Club Activity Day meetings are generally an opportunity to socialize, practice Spanish, and participate in cultural activities meant to extend language practice beyond what is covered in class. Activities may include games, cooking classes, and films in Spanish with English subtitles; organization of civic projects, field trips, and fund raising; crafts, cultural celebrations, and much, much more. The club is student centered and all who participate are encouraged to share ideas for future activities.

The Spanish Club will meet the third Wednesday of each month, after school from 3:00 to 5:00, often in Sra. Jones’s room, room 17.  Sometimes we will meet in the cafeteria if we are serving food.  We might meet more often if we are preparing for a Fieldtrip or a Parade.  Be aware that if a student receives detention for behavior problems, and is failing a class, then he/she may no longer participate in the Spanish Club. This is a privilege for students who want to take Spanish seriously in and out of the classroom.
