Next AR book test is due by October 15.  Book must be worth at least 3 points or higher.  (Yes, the date changed due to our Fall Festival being all day on the 16^th.)

 

ELA:

Monday: Bellwork – Activity 47 character analysis, 

                             Review types of sentences – punctuate/color

                             Compound subjects and predicates in sentences.  INB pages – use a simple sentence and add subjects and predicates to understand the concept.  

                            Make sure that everyone finishes Flocabulary lesson on Commas

Tuesday:  Bellwork – Activity 48, details – reading maps

                               Using Numbers and commonly confused words – wksts 22/23, 27

                              Verbs INB pages.  add linking and helping verbs list to INB, make tabs and define action, linking and helping verbs.

Wednesday: Bellwork – Activity 49 draw conclusions

                                  Apostrophes review

                                  Watch Youtube video on homophones, homographs, and homonyms.  

                                  Complete “ereading practice” located on google classroom

                                 Homophones, homographs, and homonyms – Flocabulary – watch video, write sentences using vocabulary words, play vocab game, complete read and respond and the quiz.

Thursday:  Bellwork – Activity 50 fact and opinion 

                                Study Island – multiple meaning words – EARN ribbons

Friday:  Bellwork – Types of sentences

                           Read Unstoppable You

                           Test on Commonly confused words / Numbers wkst 24/28

Reading for Pleasure:

Monday:  Read aloud to class – Restart

              We should finish Restart – so we will take an AR test to help the students earn points. 

              Partner Read to complete the hour.
