The next AR book test will be due November 16^th, 2018.  The book needs to be worth at least 4 points or it may be worth more than 4 points.  (not the 17^th since it is on a Saturday)

 

ELA:

Monday:  Bellwork:    Text structure identification.     5 questions on the projector, write on paper

              Point of view: Powerpoint  – activities involved for understanding P.O.V.

              Make sure Study Island lesson on Text structure is completed today

              Exit ticket – steps of finding point of view.

                   Extra time will be available for Reading from library book.

 

Tuesday:  Bellwork:  Veteran’s Day point of view – 4 questions.

               Temple Grandin video – Turkey work

               Flocabulary – Point of view lesson – Finish IXL lessons

                             

Wednesday:  Bellwork:  Point of View – “4 questions with Halloween theme”

                    Turkey baking – recipe – text structure, point of view, transition words

                    Follow steps – write down order, use transition word lists

                    Turkey Fun facts.                      

                                                      

Thursday:  Bellwork:  Parts of speech Mystery pic #1

                 Study Island Point of View lesson – EArn ribbons            

                 Using cards to show answer, provide different types of text structure to allow groups to discuss the types of structure and decide upon correct choice.  (use wksts 41-44)

                                

Read library book if have time.
