               Finish research notes from powerpoint (outline form)

               Also discuss research vocabulary

               Pre-reading questions on the book The Outsiders

                Take notes – begin the plot pyramid and slang vocabulary wkst.              

        

Wednesday:  Bellwork:  Analogies wkst 5 (englishforeveryone)

                   Mythology:  Finish with King Midas and the Golden Touch

                   Begin Mythology review wkst:  use pg numbers and find answers

                   Read The Outsiders – discuss vocabulary and characterizations

                                                          

Thursday:  Bellwork:  Unstoppable You

                Review the steps of the writing process.  

                Read The Outsiders – vocabulary, plot pyramid, pop quizzes, etc.
