Please remind your student to complete and turn in their assignments.

Also, they can always improve skills by using IXL program.

Math: 

Monday:  Daily Review: Minute math lesson 25  (we will use dry erase pockets, then place answers on computer or notebook paper)

               Chap. 2, pages 84-88, dividing decimals, again discuss placement of decimals in adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing without a calculator

                *5^th hour (finish pg 81-83 evens.) then move on to dividing decimals

                                      

Tuesday:     Daily review: Minute math lesson 26

                  Chap 2. review page 93-95, #2-34 even numbers

                   Flocabulary lessons:  rounding decimals

                                                 dividing decimals

                  

               

Wednesday:     Daily review:  multiplication facts drill  4 and 5 mix                                              

                      Chapter 2 review worksheet – 19/20.  

                       

Thursday:   Daily review: Minute math lesson 28                        

                  Review chapter 2, 

                  dividing worksheet (football in oz)/sport shop)

 

    

Friday:    Daily review: Math minute 29

              Chapter 2 test fractions and decimals

           

                    IXL – complete the recommended skills plans.  

    

Reading For Pleasure

Monday:  Read aloud to class – This is Our Story

              Fairy Tales?  What do you know of them?  characteristics.  

              Encourage class to bring a copy of their favorite fairy tale to class.  

             

Tuesday:  Read aloud to class – This is Our Story- Discuss and summarize

               Read together some fairy tales and their different versions.  

                                                     

Wednesday: Read aloud to class –  This is Our Story- Discuss and summarize

                   write their own fairy tale with group

 

Thursday: Read aloud to class –   This is Our Story                    

               fairy tale stories

             

Friday:  Read aloud to class – This is Our Story
